These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Vanguard Airsoft platform operated by Vanguard Global B.V. ("Vanguard", "we", "us"), a company registered in the Netherlands. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
"Platform" means the Vanguard Airsoft web application at vanguardglobal.io and any associated services
"User" means any person who creates an account on the Platform
"Player" means a User who has completed the onboarding flow and has an active player profile
"V-Points" means the virtual reward points earned through platform activity
"Content" means any text, images, data, or other material uploaded or created by Users
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform. If you are between 16 and 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
One account per person. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension
4. PLATFORM SERVICES
Vanguard provides an airsoft community platform including:
Player profiles, progression tiers, and achievement tracking
ArmaTeX weapon builder and armory management
Event discovery, registration, and team management
Community features (feed, messaging, forum)
Marketplace for peer-to-peer gear listings
V-Points reward system
Field and shop discovery
5. V-POINTS
V-Points are a virtual reward system with no monetary cash-out value
V-Points may be earned through event attendance, referrals, achievements, and platform activity
V-Points may be redeemed for platform perks, discounts, or partner offers as available
We reserve the right to modify V-Points earn rates and redemption options at any time
V-Points are non-transferable between accounts
Abuse of the V-Points system (e.g., fake referrals, bot activity) may result in account suspension and V-Points forfeiture
6. USER CONTENT
You retain ownership of Content you upload to the Platform
By uploading Content, you grant Vanguard a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and process that Content within the Platform
You must not upload Content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit, or violates third-party intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to remove any Content that violates these Terms
7. MARKETPLACE
The Marketplace facilitates peer-to-peer listings between Users
Vanguard is not a party to transactions between buyers and sellers
Sellers are responsible for ensuring their listings comply with local laws, including Dutch and EU regulations on airsoft replica sales
In the Netherlands, airsoft replicas are legal for persons 18+ under the Wet Wapens en Munitie (WWM) exemption for softair devices. Sellers must verify buyer eligibility
Vanguard does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed items
8. PROHIBITED CONDUCT
You agree not to:
Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
Harass, bully, or threaten other Users
Impersonate another person or entity
Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools without permission
Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other Users' accounts
Spam the community features, messaging system, or marketplace
Upload malware, viruses, or other harmful content
Create fake accounts or manipulate the referral/V-Points system
9. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms
Upon termination, your V-Points balance is forfeited
Account deletion will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Vanguard name, logo, design system, and platform code are the intellectual property of Vanguard Global B.V. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without written permission.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Vanguard Global B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, if any.
13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. This does not affect your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence within the EU.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
